Import from a file
On the Reconciling Items Screen under the Summary Section, click the Manage link next to the Dataset Name and totals that you want to import new data for. The Import and Manage screen will open in the same window. If you want to open it in a different window or tab then right click and select your option.

Borwse for your file. It will be imported automatically once selected.
Data is imported per Recon per Dataset. On import the application will validate that the file is in the correct format for the selected data source and will import data based on the account mappings on the template.
On import the application compares the Balances on the file to the previous closing balance, shows the total of the imported transactions and the running balance of all transactions imported to date. If there is a difference in the previous File closing balance and the current file opening balance this is highlighted to the user. The difference between the file closing balance and the application Running Balance is also shown to the user
You can view the imported data and remove the last dataset imported or captured.
Manual Capture
If there is a difference in the application balance and the file balance, it may mean that there are transactions missing from the file. In this case you can manually capture the missing transaction/s.
Click on the 'Manual Capture' button next to the Import Button
Use the Form Capture for capturing a few missing transactions. Date Amount and one of the other fields must have values
Use Bulk Paste if need to capture missing transactions. You can put together the CSV format in excel and then paste it directly in. All the columns specified below the capture area are required in the order specified. Amount, Date and one other field must have values. The rest can be empty
You can edit a captured transaction, delete it or inverse its sign as required
The last batch captured can be edited as long as there are no newer batches imported
